EZ Spoon Bread Recipe

1     cup corn meal,sifted

1 1/2 cups boiling water

1       cup milk

2      teaspoon baking powder

 1     teaspoon  salt

2    eggs slightly beaten

2   table spoon butter

Pour boiling water over corn meal slowly,stirring until smooth..Stir in butter and salt.Let cool slightly.Add milk and eggs.Mix well and fold in baking powder. Pour into lightly-greased baking dish and bake at 350-375 F or until brown.Spoon out and serve immediately with butter or gravy.

  1. looks yummy, will try it when I have more people to help me eat it! I’d eat it all myself (not good for the bod) if I made it now.
